A Musical Legacy Reimagined:
Founded in 2018 by Ken Wilson, the visionary owner of Wilson Artisan Wines, which includes Wilson Winery, Mazzocco Winery, and more, Coyote Sonoma has a profound goal – to serve as a vibrant gathering place for the Healdsburg and Sonoma County community. For Ken Wilson, this venture is also a personal journey that reconnects him to his past as a musician during the late 60s and early 70s.

In 1971, Ken Wilson was a driving force in the Psychedelic Rock and Indian Classical fusion band, Saddhu Brand. The band released their album "Whole Earth Rhythm," showcasing Wilson's songwriting talent on six of the seven tracks and his virtuosity with the bamboo flute. Notably, Saddhu Brand also featured the legendary sitar player Peter Van Gelder, known for his contributions to the Great Society. This little-known chapter in the history of one Sonoma County's largest family-owned winery group adds a fascinating dimension to Ken Wilson's journey.
